A veritable powerhouse of talent. Goronwy has performed professionally all of his life, in front of audiences of varied sizes across the world.
His first appearance was at the age of 4, in The Dolls House at The Crucible Theatre, Sheffield (where the snooker is). He then retired from serious drama and decided to try to make people laugh and clap instead and has done so in some form ever since!
Raised in Sheffield, Goronwy ran away to the Circus Space at the age of sixteen, spent time with the Moscow State Circus and began performing as host to many different shows.
Since then he has appeared in cabarets, circuses, plays, operas, ballets, on stages, on the street, on land, on the sea, on concrete, on grass, at weddings, at funerals, in schools, in prisons, in hospitals, in theatres, in big tops, in films, on television and on radios across the world.
On the way he has been seen at The National Theatre, on the BBC, in Lebanon, on ITV, on Radio 4, on Channel 4, in English Touring Opera, hosting stages at Glastonbury and on liners across the world, a regular on the famous QE2 and one of the last performers to play on its stage.
He is internationally recognised as a top variety performer, and can play and sing, spin plates, throw knives, unicycle, do magic, be funny (the most difficult trick) and juggle like the devil himself.
Goronwy is the producer and ever growing slightly fat personality behind Slightly Fat Features.
